Product 1:
Fluoropolymer technical coating
Fluoroelastomers are fluorine-coating high performance synthetic rubber which has exceptional resistance to oils and chemicals at elevated temperatures.
Advantages:
- Outstanding Resistance to heat. Typically -40° F/ -40° C to 400°F / 200°C with excursions to 500°F / 260°C.
- Excellent resistance to a very broad range of chemicals – oils, gasolines, hydraulic fluids, hydrocarbon solvents (Xylene, Kerosene, Toluene, Spirit, Naptha etc) and strong acids just to name a few.
- Resistance to ozone, sunlight, uv radiation.
- Resistance to salt spray and fungal growth.
- Bonds to most substrates including stainless steel, aluminum, copper, brass, concrete, glass, ceramics, fluoropolymers and other elastomers.
Disadvantages:
- Low molecular weight ketones and esters (e.g. methyl ethyl ketones, acetones, ethyl acetate) are not compatible to fluoroelastomers.
- Amines may degrade this elastomers.
- Bonding to silicone, PTFE (Poly-tetra-fluoro-ethylene)
Product 2:
